My morning smoothie! 
I drink this every morning. It’s a great way to get some greens in, especially for those of us who don’t like to eat our vegetables
I drink this in addition to my 3 servings of daily veggies. Do I always get all my veggies in?? Nope, but I definitely try my best.
What’s in it?
• 1/2 scoop Garden of Life Total Greens
• 1 scoop Vital Proteins collagen powder
• handful of spinach/baby kale mix
• 2-3 pieces of pineapple
• 1-2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• 1 cup of ice
• 1 cup water or juice
• 1 banana
You can omit the 2 powders and add more spinach if you don’t have those two items.
Why it’s good:
Pineapple - aids in digestion and boosts immunity, adds flavor for those that don’t like the acidity of ACV
Banana - good source of potassium
Greens powder or a couple handfuls of spinach - full of vitamins + nutrients, antioxidants, a great way to get in a serving of veggies
Collagen powder - can improve hair, skin + nail health, aids in joint health and gut health
Our bodies stop producing collagen as we age so supplementing is a good way to add some back to your body. This is one of my he reasons I drink this everyday, sometimes twice day. I DO NOT USE THIS AS A MEAL REPLACEMENT. I do drink this first thing in the morning in addition to 16oz of water. Hope you’re enjoying these tips and recipes.
